who We are
About Us
The Thermal Imaging Centers of America was founded with the goal of providing a safe, radiation-free, and pain-free health screening for general health as well as cancer detection.
Our founder, Kerry Press, was motivated by her own experience with cancer to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients who are anxiously seeking answers to their prominent and potential health issues and concerns.

About Thermography
About
Thermography is a safe and noninvasive health screening technique that can detect signs of disease and dysfunction, even years before other mainstream screening techniques. Oftentimes, as in breast health screenings, thermal imaging may detect disease up to ten years earlier than mammography.
While other diagnostics such as ultrasound, radiography, and mammography show the body’s structure or anatomy, DITI (digital infrared thermal imaging) shows physiological and metabolic processes instead. This process provides a different, inside perspective on the systems throughout the body and a person’s overall well-being.

Kerry Press
Kerry Press is a Certified Clinical Thermographer (CCT) and the visionary President & Founder of Thermal Imaging Centers of America™, dedicated to advancing everyone’s general health through innovative screening technology. Her journey into the world of thermography began in 2008, following her own breast cancer diagnosis, a time when she was unfamiliar with this vital tool.

Faced with a diagnosis of early-stage DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) with no lymph node involvement, Kerry was propelled into a whirlwind of fear and urgency, ultimately opting for a double mastectomy with reconstruction. This decision led her to undergo eight surgeries in a mere 16 months, all for a condition that was mischaracterized in the absence of adequate screening options.
Driven by a desire to understand her experience, Kerry embarked on an extensive four-year journey of research, training, and certification in thermography. She discovered that the micro-calcifications present in her diagnosis were indicative of chronic inflammation rather than the onset of breast cancer. Crucially, she learned that thermal imaging—a technology FDA-approved as an adjunct for breast health screening since 1982 and available in the United States since 1956—could have identified the difference.
Kerry is resolute in her belief that had she known about thermography, she would still have her breasts today. This conviction fuels her passion to educate others about the transformative benefits of digital infrared thermal imaging. While her clinics provide a platform for healing and prevention, her true mission lies in sharing her personal story to empower others, helping them recognize the importance of informed health choices. Through her advocacy, Kerry Press is not only redefining general health screening but also inspiring countless individuals to take charge of their own health journeys.

In Memory of Dr. Ben Johnson
Dr. Johnson was a renowned health expert and informative speaker, committed, and passionate about serving the increasing global need for integrative alternative cancer. He had three medical degrees, (M.D., N.M.D., D.O.). Medical Doctor, Naturopathic Medical Doctor, and Doctor of Osteopathy. He also had a Master of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Dr. Johnson was intensely interested in alternative medicines after reversing the effects of Lou Gehrig’s disease using unconventional medicine.
Dr. Johnson’s medical career spanned over thirty years, from his graduate work in immuno-pathology in 1976 to his work in concentration writing and speaking on staying healthy, especially for women in the area of breast health. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1981, his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree in 2001, and his M.D. in 2004.
Dr. Johnson worked in both General Practice and Emergency Medicine from 1982 to 1996, serving as a U. S. Army Reserve Flight Surgeon Major for 13 years and a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA. In 1997, Dr. Johnson began to formally combine conventional and complementary medicine, moving back home to Georgia and founding, in Atlanta, The Immune Recovery Foundation. Turning in 2004 to breast cancer research and breast health education, Dr. Johnson founded the International Cancer Foundation in Rossville, GA.
Dr. Johnson, or simply Dr. Johnson to his friends, patients, and colleagues, was committed to serving, and in many cases, healing cancer patients worldwide. Many patients can come to their doctor but not many doctors come to their patients. Dr. Johnson did this because many patients cannot or do not want to travel to another state or country for several months of treatment. Many patients do not want to leave family or need to continue to work making this a very practical approach.
Dr. Johnson published three books, The Secret of Health: Breast Wisdom, Healing Water, and the #1 bestseller The Healing Codes with Alex Loyd. Before passing, Dr. Johnson finished his latest book, “No Ma’amograms!,” emphasizing the significance of early breast cancer detection through Thermography. He highlighted that Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging is the sole imaging tool enabling early detection, often years ahead of what Mammograms can achieve.
